Helping Students at Risk for Suicide (HSAR)

This full-day workshop is designed for School professionalsincluding, psychologists, school counselors, social workers,school administrators who are involved in the helping processwhen a student may be at risk for suicide, and communitymental health providers who work with and in schools. HSAR isdesigned to improve skills, processes, and protocol for helpingstudents at risk for suicide by equipping educators with tools,knowledge, and skills to assist students having thoughts ofsuicide or engaging in suicidal behavior and preparing schoolsto implement standardized procedures that reflect best-practice intervention.

Continuing Education: 6 CE credit hours are available for LMSW, LCSW, and LMHC licensees upon completion of the course.
